United Methodists finally come completely out of the closet.

They have a big church right in the middle of town here and have not had any hesitancy in supporting LGBTQ causes, advertising in the news paper, internet, and on their sign for quite some time.

The change doesn't mandate or even explicitly affirm LGBTQ clergy, but it means the church no longer forbids them.

they should rename it ichabods methods of madness church..... they are basically going down the same path the lutheran church i use to be a member of went down... ..i don;t think that one even requires a statement of faith or church membership anywhere now before they marry same sex couples... ....
